Steve Kardian was at Fox Studios doing a Women's Safety segment when he was introduced to Della Reese. Kardian spent some time speaking with Della about women's issues and women's safety before they did their respective segments. 

Steve Kardian and the Women's Self Defense Institute conducted a Women's Empowerment Certification in Illinois. This class consisted of instructors from all over the country. The instructors pictured her have reached over 20,000 young women during the past 8 years. Congrats to all!
